My Black Market Joins Forces With African Leaders
My Black Market founder Daniel Lister was invited as a very important special guest to the unveiling of the youth entrepreneurship framework, literacy & capacity development project by the Entrepreneurship Career Centre (ECC).
The ECC is a non-profit dedicated to entrepreneurship development research, training, advocacy and education, who unveiled the 1st African entrepreneurship project designed to address youth capacity development and unemployment, contributing to your Country and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at The City Centre in central London.
Headed by Dr Beem H. Beeka, MCMI, FHEA, PhD the founder of the ECC, an entrepreneur and lecturer with degrees in Economics and International Business Management. The event was a sit-down roundtable presentation and discussion under the Distinguished Hosting Chairmanship of His Excellency Paul Gao Zoumanigui, Ambassador of the Republic of Guinea in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Iceland.
With keynote speeches from His Excellency Dr Bamanga Tukur (Commander of Order of the Niger), President, African Business Roundtable and Chairman, NEPAD Business Group, Nigerian Ambassador-At-Large represented by Dr Alistair Soyode, Chairman of Ben TV; and Mr Kodjo Osei-Lah, Councillor of The World Trade Organization, attendees discussed plans to work together in developing and delivering a strategy to tackle the economic issues facing Africans in Africa and throughout the diaspora.
Amongst the strategies discussed were high-level engagement to address the capacity and unemployment issues facing our youths, strategic contributions to encourage youth entrepreneurship and employability, free book donation, Training, and Mentoring for At least 1 Million Beneficiaries in Africa & the Diaspora from 2017.
In attendance were High Commissioner, His Excellency Mr Tchembinkosi of The Republic of South Africa; His Excellency Mohammad A. Etom, Ambassador of The Republic of Sudan; Ms Anne Kamau, Kenya High Commission; Mr Michael Longwa, Councillor of The Republic of South Sudan; Mrs Ireen Chengo, First Trade Secretary of Zambia; Mr Mohamed Warsama Boss, Political and Trade Counsellor of The Republic of Somaliland; Ms Sinenhlanhla Sithole, First Secretary of the High Commission of South Africa, and entrepreneurs including AfricaOracle.
Our Founder Daniel Lister was also elected to become an official member of the ECC Advisory Board. He was selected as a leader with respectable knowledge and experience who can make valuable contributions on the journey to encourage, grow and impact entrepreneurship in the interest of poverty alleviation and human capacity development. His opinion and counsel will be sought to develop, facilitate and implement strategies for the ECC.
