It focuses on providing a premium level product with a high level of attention to detail, starting from the product and carried right through to the packaging. Based in Edinburgh, Scotland but selling their products throughout the UK, Frntpage focuses on the often under-served UK market while many other companies focus on the US.

Carolyn Nadzanja

Owner, Carolyn Nadzanja was born and raised in Scotland. She studied fashion design at Edinburgh College of Art where, in her final year, she was inspired by images of her female relatives in Malawi and decided to base her collection on African-inspired headpieces. Following a lot of successful press, including being featured on Vogue, this sparked a new idea to start a hair and beauty company specifically for black and bi-racial women.

Growing up in Scotland, Carolyn struggled to find high quality products for black women. Developed over a period of a year until finally being released on the 27th April 2015, Frntpage was created in response to this with the objective of bringing premium hair and beauty products to the UK market. Thorough research of their customers’ needs led them to the development of their virgin remy Brazilian hair, produced as a series of extremely high quality hair wefts, currently available in 4 lengths: 14”, 16”, 18” and 20”, that blend well with afro hair-types. A collection that is inspired by black women, developed for black women.
